IncarnateThe Gospel of John is known for its unique insight into the life of Jesus Christ. Filled with memorable moments, John presents Jesus as the Eternal, Incarnate God in flesh. He starts his Gospel with these words;

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men….And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

The word “incarnate” is defined as; “To be embodied in flesh, given a bodily, especially a human, form.” Jesus, eternal God, chose a moment in time to embody His eternal Word and reveal to mankind the extent of His love and grace. Jesus, the total embodiment of the Godhead coming to dwell with man and change the world as we know it. This gospel message would literally turn everything the right side up!

In this series discover the “Jesus” that many have forgotten. The “Jesus” that took on the form of a man to flesh-out the God we needed to know. Rich in meaning for today, the Gospel of John will fill us with wonder of the majesty of the King of Heaven.
