Jesus give CityWest that hunger and that desperation for Your presence. Open their eyes to the importance of prayer and the prayer gathering. Awaken them Lord, let the dawn shine into their hearts and may you break into their lives with the real, tangible presence of Your Person. Holy Spirit, woo Your CityWest bride and bring her lovingly into the shelter of the Most High and let Your glory draw them closer. Lord, the door to their hearts is open, enter dear Jesus, and abide in them. The angels of Heaven are in awe that You, my God, chose men to be Your habitation. Enter Lord, You are so welcome, abide in them and be the head of their home and that they become houses of prayer for all nations.

Lord I am a sinner and I come to you for help. I find it difficult to pray out loud, so I ask God to give me the confidence and the strength to pray out loud.. I was very moved by the prayer meeting last night and feel that I should have been stronger and contributed to the meeting. Help me to believe and give me the strength to reject whatever is holding me back, in Jesus name. Amen

Once again it has only been recently that i have started to fully understnad the importance of prayer and actually start to seek God daily with such a desperation.A desperation to know Him and a desperation to seek His face. I have come to the realisation that this is soooo important. God wants us to know Him and the only way that can happen is if we spend time with Him and that includes prayer. if we are not praying to Him then we are going against everything He is about and trying to do things on our own merrit and not His.
I thank God for showing me how important and powerful prayer can be. Without it i doubt i wouldve gotten through the last couple of weeks. I certainly couldnt have done it on my own strengths. Praise Jesus.
