Invasion Of God
REVIVAL – A word often misunderstood and sadly by many something never considered. Yet in a time when the church seems so powerless and largely ineffective, shouldn’t we be asking some important questions? The need for revival within the churches of Australia and the world is desperate and once we understand that God’s heart does cry out for revival we will begin to get a glimpse into the reason of our existence.
Imagine Christians passionately on fire for Jesus and having denied themselves they dwell in God’s tangible and transforming presence. Imagine the gathered Church so thick with the presence of God that healings, deliverance and salvations are a common part of life. Imagine the love and unity that reigns. Imagine God’s people sharing His burden for the lost to the point where they are in anguish for their souls and are led to a deep travailing prayer that shakes the kingdom of darkness and moves the heart of God. Imagine a town flooded by God’s Spirit that evil runs and men and women are brought in a saving faith through Jesus. Imagine a nation set on fire with the revival of God that the very fabric of society shifts and Jesus is honoured and worshipped. Isn’t this what the Church is meant to be praying for and aiming towards? This is revival and in this series we delve into this amazing vision of God’s heart and what part we are called to play. Open up your heart and get ready for God to invade your world.
